Terribly Upset by Kennel Incident Written by
Denise Patten
I am new to this website and not sure how to let the public know about one of our local kennels. Last week, I took my 9 month old, teacup Yorkshire terrier to a kennel for a few days so I could fly to San Antonio, Texas to see my son graduate from the Air Force. I left my terrier there Wednesday evening, only after investigating the premises and talking to pet owners. On Sunday, one day before I was due to pick up my baby, the local kennel called me and told me that there was a freak accident. Another dog (which was a large dog) bit my baby and killed him. She informed me that it happened on Friday; however, she did not even call me until Sunday. Needless to say, I have been beside myself since.
The purpose of this letter is to make people aware of our local kennels and urge them to ask about any accidents before boarding their pets. I can not currently state the kennels name due to legalities but do want to inform the public. Thank you.
